GANGgajang and Free Family Fun at Boundary Street Markets, Sunday 10 August
Where can you see a legendary Australian band, lounge on a deck, eat, drink, and watch your children play, simultaneously, for free?
Boundary Street Markets and the Motor Room present a day of fun with kid’s activities, pop-up stores and stalls, street food, craft beer, and live music from Australian legends GANGgajang, at the Boundary Street Markets, West End, Sunday 10 August.
“Just the four of us.” With the passing of the band’s beloved friend and bass player Chris Bailey a year ago, the other four original members Cal, Buzz, Geoff and Robbie have decided to continue on and celebrate 30 years together by playing a series of shows performing their legacy of classic songs acoustically to recreate the atmosphere in which they were first written.
The retrospective seminal hit from 1985 “Sounds Of Then (This Is Australia)” will captain the repertoire as it takes us through a journey of 30 years of GANGgajang.
The Motor Room is the exciting new warehouse venue everyone is talking about, located at the Boundary Street Markets, in the beating heart of cruisy West End.
Avoid exhibition crowds (and costs) and celebrate songs that helped shape Australia’s musical landscape, with loads of fun for everyone, from midday Sunday 10 August, at the Boundary Street Markets, West End.
